Two isoforms of this gene were isolated and cloned using the Bacterial Artificial Chromosome Library of flax M5791accession. The isoforms were 91%similar to each other in the amino acid level. Five major single nucleotide polymorphisms were identified in a flax world collection of 92 accessions. SDG levels were measured in the 10 accessions with different PL reductase haplotypes. Significant changes in SDG content were observed.”
