“The primary and most abundant lignin found in Linum usitatis-simium is Secoisolariciresinol,which acts as an antibiotic.,antioxidant ans cholesterol controlling agent.Secoisolariciresinol is synthesized through pinoresinol-lariciresinolreductase enzyme. Two isoforms of this gene were isolated and cloned using the Bacterial Artificial Chromosome Library of flax M5791accession. The isoforms were 91%similar to each other in the amino acid level. [...]
