With the help of BioTalent Canada we have opened a 14″th region for the SABC. This region includes northern and remote areas that have formerly had to try to connect up with the local “Regional” SABC center.

Through use of videoconferencing and some travel, we hope to give students of our more remote areas a chance to participate more easily in the SABC. Norm Lee is coordinating this “NSABC” (Northern SABC) region and hopes to have a competition even in this first year with the winner going to Ottawa for the “SABC National” in May.
